Wilmington Model Flying Club consists of members dedicated to model aviation. It is a club of active members from the early teens to the retired. Always anxious to welcome new people to the sport, a training program for new pilots is available, as well as a wealth of advice for beginning builders and fliers. We welcome both spectators and those interested in learning and increasing their piloting and model building skills.

The club is an Academy of Model Aeronautics sanctioned club that provides a safe flying environment through strict, nationally recognized guidelines to be used by our members for design, safety, and training.

For inquires about the club (meetings, field, rules, membership, etc.), hobby cost, or information regarding the AMA, see the Contacts tab.

Club meetings are held no less than quarterly as announced by e-mail. During warm weather, the meetings are held at the flying field starting at 11:00 am. During cooler weather, the meetings location will also be announced in the e-mail.
